Those to be admitted in this Home should visit the Home before being admitted, so that both the person and the sister in Charge may judge the feasibility of the admission.

Only women candidates will be admitted to the Home.

Preference will be given to the really deserving and poorer widows and spinsters.

ADHAR card and a passport size photo are to be submitted.

Admission to be made initially for 3 months. No admission to be made in haste.

The candidate to be admitted must be at least 70 years of age and must be of sound mind and not bedridden. Those suffering from contagious, infectious and mental diseases will not be admitted.

A certificate of recommendation both from the physician as well as the Parish Priest known to the inmate should be submitted at the time of admission.

There must be a local guardian who takes the overall responsibility of the candidate.

The medical and hospital bills are to be paid by the guardians

There will not be any interference from the guardian or any outsider as far the ‘Administration’ and the ‘Nursing care’ of the Home is concerned.

The Home will not keep candidates whose behavior is adverse to community living.

No liquor will be allowed to be kept with the candidates.

Once admitted the inmates will not leave the premises without proper authorization. They have to be back to this Home before 6: 30.pm

The Management of St. Mary’s Home, Siolim, has full right to dismiss or to discontinue the stay of the inmate if the above conditions are not fulfilled.

About the monthly fees and the security deposit will be discussed with the guardian personally in St. Mary’s home, Siolim.

Visitors are permitted once in 2 weeks to visit the inmate within following visiting hours: 10:30am -11:30am and 4:30pm -5:30pm
